Le Canterbury
This café-restaurant founded in 1993 is situated at the Etangs d'Ixelles, 5 minutes away from the centre of the city. Amidst idyllic surroundings, we serve gastronomy specialities : poulet de ferme rôti à la broche (spit-roasted chicken), coquelet désossé grillé sauce béarnaise (deboned cockerel grilled with bearnaise sauce), choucroute garnie à l'alsacienne (en saison) (sauerkraut with meat Alsatian fashion), the filet américain (recipe invented by Joseph Niels in 1926).
A large round table at the first floor with a view on the ponds is at your disposal for a celebration or a
business lunch (max. 15 places). The service is ensured by professionals. A beautiful terrace planted with sycamore trees is open if the weather is nice.
The restaurant has been decorated by Christophe Gevers and the paintings are from contemporary artists.
